The orthopedic surgeons at SGH-Jeddah performed a successful operation for a Saudi citizen who was injured in a traffic accident. He came to the hospital in a coma, suffered multiple fractures, broken right arm, paralysis of the radial nerve of the right arm and hand, wrist drop, the inability to raise the hand and fingers, broken right elbow and thigh. The internal fixation of the fracture was done by a plate and screws, and the fracture of the thigh was fixed by an intramedullary nail, the patient improved after three months and was able to move the hand and fingers naturally. Eng. Sobhi Batterjee, Chairman of MEAHCO the owner of Saudi German Hospitals, said that Saudi German hospitals have been characterized by accurate surgery in accidents and injuries since its establishment in 1988 and so far are the leaders in the Middle East and the Gulf region in this field.
